Production: Day 5 (Final day)
This shoot took place in an open land where we planned to take the shots of where the actor tries to commit suicide It is also the same place where we shot out pre-music video. Again, all shots were handheld because we wanted the video to be very happening and keep moving. In this, we shot the part where the angelic figure, who's representing hope, happiness, and positivity, finds the depressed boy, and blends into him. Through out the music video, everything is black and white except the female actor as she's radiating a coloured aura. This is the climax of the music video, and the point which explains the whole concept.

Production: Day 4
This was located at one of our group member's house. We wanted to show a house setting, where the teenage boy comes back home after a fight, with a bruise on his face. All shots were handheld shots, with variations of close up and OTS shots. We showed that his relationship with his mother was not good. We showed that by how the boy shoved his mothers had away from him and then slammed the door shut on her face.
We also recorded a scene where we would add jump cuts to show sleepless nights and restlessness. We placed our camera on a table and made our actor stand in different areas of the room. The reason for keeping jump cuts was to show that time's passing by and the actor's just laying around in his room doing nothing and just thinking. After that, we kept a close up shot of his reflection in the mirror, this showed the change of expression, as he finally decided to attempt suicide. To show that he's taking out the gun, we placed the camera inside the actual bag, and recorded the shot from there.
All of these shots were taken with Nikon D7100, shutter speed 1/50, ISO 800-1000 as it was indoors and we didn't have any source of external lighting.

Production: Day 3
PART 1:
As the female actor's solo shots were finished, we decided to move onto the teenage boy's shots which were taken on a path outside our school. This whole scene was of the teenage boy who was being bullied and beaten up by bullies. Our shots were taken in monochrome settings so we can get the best quality of black and white shots. We planned to take black ad white shots because we wanted it to represent depression and sadness. All the shots were hand held and had some sort of movement to them. keeping in mind the 180 degree rule, we took OTS shots of both the bullies and main actor. Most of our shots were edited in a fast cut and were kept shaky as it added to the intense bullying scene and made it more dramatic. We also took low level shots and a perspective shot to bring variation into our project.

PART 2:
We got done with two scenes in one day. The second scene we worked on was the artist's lip sync shots in one of the locations. In this we made our artist walk on a path as we took the shot walking backwards on the same pace. To stabilise the shots, we made the DOP wear the camera strap around her neck and extend the camera further to get as much control on the movement as possible. We took both, monochrome and colour shots because this scene will be in both parts of the music video. By the time we started shooting this scene, the natural lighting got darker and darker as time went by, so we changed the iso and shutter speed accordingly.

Production: Day 2
This day, we took some more shots of the female actor and re-shoot of the previous scenes that weren't good enough. All the songs were taken with Nikon D7100 at 1920x1080 at 60FPS. We chose to shoot at 60FPS because we pre planned to render the shots down in slow motion. Also, we chose to shoot in the 'Golden Hour' which is when the sun is about to set and gives out a beautiful golden colour. The ISO was kept between 100-200, however, the shutter speed varied 1/50 to 1/250 to make the sunlight appear in the best possible way. Then we made the girl stand against the sun to get a beautiful aura of sunlight. This day we concluded all the solo female shots.

Production: Day 1
So, we had our first day of shooting, in which we decided to start with the female shots first. First we had all gathered at one location. I did the make up of our actress while two team members were mounting the DSLR onto our Sevenoak stabelizer. She was dressed in a while dress, with a white silk cloak on top, and a very shimmery glittery make up, to make her look like angelic.
All these scenes were shot with Nikon D7100, with 18-140mm lens, and ISO ranging between 100-500. In the start, as it was daylight, we mainly kept the ISO between 100-200 and shutter speed between 1/60 and 1/80. We also kept the settings at 60fps as we planned to render down some shots to 60% play speed. The shoot took longer than we planned, so with time, the natural light that we were using got dimmer really fast, as it was winter season, so according to the given situation, we had to increase ISO and decrease shutter speed. We also used a Beats Pill to make the song more audible and easier for the actors to act according to the beat for every scene we shot.
We took majority of the female shots, however, due to unappealing mise-en-scene, we had to reshoot some of the shots.
