Basic Storyline and Song Selection
Our Music Video project is basically about a teenage boy's journey through life as he battles depression. We used a female actress as a spiritual/visual representation of his happiness. Her role basically shows that, the boy does have happiness in his life, he just has to find it. So, it shows that the girl is trying to find the teenage boy, to help him overcome his depression. So, it gives awareness about bullying as a social issue, and the seriousness of depression as a mental disorder.
The song we chose is La Lune by Madeon featuring Dan Smith.

Pre-production: Group meetings!
So far we've kept 3-4 meetings with my project group.
In the first meeting, we got to decide the song we wanted to make our music video on, along with a few research pictures of the props we would be using and the clothing our actors will be wearing.
In our second meeting, we were able to create a basic story line about what our video's story will be, along with that, we decided our actors. Although we faced a lot of difficulties in getting a female actor due to schedule clashes and permission issues, we finally got an actor we wanted.
For our third meeting, we started making our storyboard and got our props together, and that concluded our pre production.
